Dear ladies and gentlemen, a very warm welcome to this Merck Capital Markets Day. My name is Constantin Fest, I'm Head of Investor Relations. And it's great to have all of you here in Darmstadt and also online.

I'd like to start with the legal note. Some portions of this event will be recorded in terms of audio and video. If you have questions or objections on that, please feel free to contact the IR team now in the back.

So the first thing this morning, we're going to start with the joint presentation of Stefan Oschmann, our Group CEO; as well as Marcus Kuhnert, our Group CFO. And right after that, we will have the Q&A. And then the next thing after that will be the "meet the Merck management" sessions where it's really going to be about you being able to question that matter most to you and discuss these topics with the respective leadership teams of the different sectors.
