Wilbur Ross Denounces Anti-Business 'Terrible Populist Sentiment' on CNBC

Distressed assets investor Ross supports business and dislikes Bernie Sanders

WL Ross & Co. Chairman and CEO Wilbur Ross (Trades, Portfolio) denounced what he sees as anti-business populism brewing on the political scene this election season on CNBC Thursday afternoon. The middle class is angry about being left behind for a decade, he said, but America needing to be more competitive is the underlying issue. Ross backs Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump.

Ross and another commentator both also discussed the collapse of the Pfizer (PFE, Financial) and Allergan (AGN, Financial) deal and the retroactive tax rules that prevented it.
