Apple (AAPL) Plans Revolutionary iPhone for 20th Anniversary

Article's Main Image

According to reports, Apple (AAPL, Financial) is set to release a newly designed iPhone in 2027 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its iconic product. This edition is expected to include a foldable model and a Pro version featuring glass elements. Due to tariff issues, iPhone prices are anticipated to rise. Although Apple has the capability to produce a large number of iPhones in India, the complex production process of the 20th-anniversary edition, coupled with the intricate design, makes it unlikely to be manufactured there.

Previously, Apple had considered moving a significant portion of its iPhone production for the U.S. market to India. However, analysts estimate that production costs in India could be 5% to 10% higher than in China, which could impact the pricing strategy. Overall, the iPhone's future design and manufacturing plans reflect Apple's ongoing strategy to innovate while managing global production challenges.
