Investors are eagerly anticipating Berkshire Hathaway's (BRK.A, Financial) annual shareholder gathering, and a look at the itinerary shows multiple Q&A sessions, the main meeting and related events from May 3–4 at Omaha's CHI Health Center.
Doors open at 7:00 a.m. Central on Saturday, May 3, with a 7:45 a.m. drawing at 11 microphone locations to select shareholders for live questions.
At 8:00 a.m., Warren Buffett (Trades, Portfolio), Greg Abel and Ajit Jain will field queries; a recess follows at 10:30 a.m. The second Q&A with Buffett and Abel kicks off at 11:00 a.m., leading into the Annual Shareholders Meeting at 1:00 p.m. Exhibit halls close at 4:00 p.m.
CNBC's Becky Quick will curate emailed questions ([email protected]) for the live sessions, broadcast on CNBC and webcast in English and Mandarin from 7:30 a.m. CT.
Additional events include a Friday, May 2, CHI Health Center shopping day (noon–5 p.m.) and Borsheims shareholder-only shopping night (6–8 p.m.). On Saturday evening, Nebraska Furniture Mart hosts a “Berkshire Picnic” from 4–8 p.m. at its Omaha store. Sunday, May 4, features the “Invest in Yourself” 5K presented by Brooks (8–11 a.m. at Gene Leahy Mall) and a Borsheims shopping day (11 a.m.–4 p.m.).
Shareholders also enjoy NFM discounts April 23–May 6 (including Dallas/Fort Worth, Kansas City and Des Moines) and Borsheims discounts April 26–May 11, with extended store hours.
