April 25 - Ark Invest (ARKK, Financial) outlined new long-term price scenarios for Bitcoin in its Big Ideas 2025 report, projecting sharp potential gains by the end of the decade.
The investment firm, led by Cathie Wood, forecasts Bitcoin could reach $710,000 in its base case by 2030, representing a roughly 651% upside from current levels. The bull case envisions Bitcoin surging to $1.5 million, while even the bear scenario places the cryptocurrency at $300,000, or about 217% higher than where it currently trades.
The revised estimates come as Bitcoin continues to outperform traditional equities in 2025, despite slipping 1.5% year to date. The token rose about 0.4% on Friday and was recently trading near $94,500. The projections are significantly higher than Bitcoin's record high of $109,026.
Ark framed the predictions as part of a broader outlook on digital assets and blockchain infrastructure. The firm said that increasing institutional adoption, rising scarcity, and long-term utility use cases support Bitcoin's potential growth path.
Bitcoin has posted stronger gains than major stock indices this year, fueling renewed interest among retail and institutional investors alike.
