Alibaba's B2B cross-border e-commerce platform, Alibaba International Station, is expanding its "overseas stock" initiative after topping the US app shopping charts. The platform is inviting foreign trade merchants with ready stock in the US and Europe to participate. Alibaba International Station will support these new "overseas stock merchants" by connecting them with influencers and livestream institutions on social media. Additionally, it will provide distribution tools to help merchants increase order conversion and accelerate business growth.
The "overseas stock model" is currently available in 27 European countries and the US, targeting cross-border merchants with local warehouses or products in third-party overseas warehouses. The product categories mainly focus on standard goods.
