Encompass Health Corporation (EHC, Financial) has announced the appointment of Patrick Tuer as Chief Operating Officer, a new position within the company. This promotion is effective immediately.

Tuer, who will manage hospital operations company-wide, will continue to report to Mark Tarr, the President and CEO of Encompass Health. His previous role as group president involved leading three key geographic regions, encompassing 69 hospitals.

Since joining Encompass Health in 2018, Tuer has taken on various leadership roles, including positions as regional president and regional vice president. His career prior to Encompass Health included leadership roles in both acute and post-acute hospital organizations.
