Williams (WMB) has announced the appointment of Larry Larsen as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), with the transition set for May 3, 2025. Larsen, who currently holds the position of Senior Vice President for Gathering and Processing, will succeed Micheal Dunn, who is retiring.

Larry Larsen joined Williams in 1999 and has held several key roles, most notably as Vice President for Central Services and Vice President-General Manager for the Rocky Mountain Midstream franchise. In these roles, Larsen was instrumental in managing Williams’ supply chain and commercial activities while ensuring safe and reliable operations.

Williams’ President and CEO, Alan Armstrong, expressed confidence in Larsen’s deep understanding of Williams' operational strategy, highlighting his ability to maintain the company’s competitive advantage and support long-term growth initiatives. Larsen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.

Williams, a leader in the energy industry, operates a 33,000-mile pipeline infrastructure that transports one-third of the nation’s natural gas. The company is heavily involved in transitioning to clean energy solutions and aims to reduce emissions within its natural gas network.
