Stellantis (STLA, Financial) has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Mopar Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in East Fishkill, New York, representing a significant $64 million investment. This 534,000-square-foot facility is strategically designed to enhance service delivery across the Northeast region of the United States, stepping up support for dealers and customers by handling over 2 million shipments annually and storing more than 46,000 unique parts.

The East Fishkill facility is the first Stellantis site in the U.S. to employ the cutting-edge AutoStore automated storage and retrieval system. This system utilizes 40 robotic units navigating a track system above a high-density grid with 70,000 bins, significantly improving order completion speed and accuracy while reducing the required warehouse space.

The consolidation of Stellantis' former Tappan, New York, and Boston PDC facilities into this new center supports the company's carbon reduction objectives and strengthens its supply chain capabilities. Additionally, the PDC has generated nearly 100 local jobs, reinforcing Stellantis' commitment to community and economic development.

"The launch of our new Mopar Parts Distribution Center in East Fishkill marks a significant investment in our long-term growth and service capabilities," said Darren Bradshaw, Mopar Senior Vice President for North America. "By integrating cutting-edge technology and automation, we're strengthening our supply chain, accelerating delivery times and reinforcing our commitment to dealer and customer satisfaction."

This development represents a strategic move for Stellantis, aligning with its goals to reduce emissions and enhance operational efficiency, while also boosting the local economy of East Fishkill.
