GE HealthCare (GEHC), a leader in breast health technology, is unveiling its advanced diagnostic tools and patient-centered innovations at the Society of Breast Imaging 2025 Breast Cancer Imaging Symposium in Colorado Springs from April 24-27. The company's focus is on improving breast cancer detection, optimizing workflows, and enhancing patient care.
Among the key innovations is the Pristina Via™ mammography system, designed to enhance the mammography experience by providing diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency. This system features zero-click acquisition and fast DBT image cycle times, enhancing workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Additionally, it offers vendor-neutral prior image comparison to streamline assessments.
Furthermore, GE HealthCare is distributing DeepHealth’s SmartMammo™ AI solution in the U.S., which integrates with the Pristina platform to enhance diagnostic workflows. SmartMammo's AI capabilities include automatic lesion localization and real-time data rendering, improving efficiency and diagnostic accuracy, especially for dense breast tissue patients.
GE HealthCare is also highlighting its Invenia™ Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) Premium, the first FDA-approved technology designed specifically for patients with dense breast tissue. Clinical studies have demonstrated that combining ABUS with mammography increases cancer detection by 35.7%.
Additionally, SenoBright™ HD Contrast Enhanced Mammography (CEM) and Serena Bright™ biopsy solutions are featured, providing functional insights and enabling contrast-guided biopsies. These technologies aim to improve diagnostic confidence and patient outcomes, reducing the anxiety associated with inconclusive exams.
GE HealthCare remains committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance breast cancer screening and diagnosis, prioritizing patient care and clinical efficiency. For more information on GE HealthCare's offerings, visit booth #407 at the SBI 2025 Symposium.
