  • Notably high-grade intercepts include 719.26 g/t Au over 0.75 m.
  • The 2025 Winter Drill Program is 73% complete with promising results.

Spanish Mountain Gold Ltd. (TSX-V: SPA) (FSE: S3Y) (OTCQB: SPAUF) has announced significant high-grade gold intercepts at its Spanish Mountain Gold Project, located in the Cariboo Gold Corridor of British Columbia, Canada. This discovery marks the highest grades encountered in the project's exploration history.

The company's 2025 Winter Drill Program, which spans 10,000 meters across 31 diamond drill holes, is currently 73% complete. Among the standout results, drill hole 25-DH-1286 intersected 139.00 meters grading 4.18 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold (Au) from a depth of 56.00 meters. This includes an extraordinary section with grades of 719.26 g/t Au over 0.75 meters.

In addition to the remarkable intercept in hole 25-DH-1286, hole 25-DH-1285 yielded 39.00 meters grading 0.99 g/t Au from 113.00 meters, featuring 1.00 meter at 34.59 g/t Au. Visible gold was observed in multiple drill cores, confirming the high-grade nature of the K Zone target.

Julian Manco, Director of Exploration for Spanish Mountain Gold, emphasized that these findings validate their new geological model and highlight the project's significant potential for further high-grade mineralization. Peter Mah, President, CEO, and Director of Spanish Mountain Gold, expressed excitement over these discoveries, which hint at the possibility of high-grade open pit gold discovery near the surface.

The company employs a robust quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) program overseen by qualified personnel, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the assay results. Spanish Mountain Gold remains committed to advancing the project and aims to establish its position as a leader in community and Indigenous relations by building a sustainable gold mine in Canada.
