Ecopetrol S.A. (EC) has announced the reaffirmation of Guillermo García Realpe and Mónica de Greiff Lindo as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson, respectively, of its Board of Directors. This decision was made during the board session on April 22 and 23, 2025, reflecting a stable leadership structure as the company continues its expansion and strategic operations.
The Board of Directors also established six specialized committees to bolster its governance framework. These committees are the Audit and Risk Committee, led by Álvaro Torres Macías; the Business Committee, chaired by Mónica de Greiff Lindo; the Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee, headed by Luis Felipe Henao Cardona; the Remuneration, Appointments, and Culture Committee, under the leadership of Guillermo García Realpe; the HSE Committee, led by Angela María Robledo Gómez; and the Technology and Innovation Committee, chaired by Ricardo Rodríguez Yee.
Ecopetrol, Colombia's largest company, commands over 60% of the nation’s hydrocarbon production and logistics.
