Universal Robots (UR) and Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), both part of Teradyne Robotics, are set to unveil their latest AI-powered automation solutions at Automate 2025. The exhibition will take place from May 12-15 in Detroit, where the companies will present their innovations in three key zones: automotive, electronics manufacturing, and logistics.

In the automotive zone, attendees will witness an explosion-proof (ATEX certified) UR cobot handling painting tasks, along with advanced quality inspection processes using the new UR AI Accelerator toolkit. This highlights the ability of Teradyne Robotics to address complex automation needs comprehensively, optimizing workflows from start to finish.

The electronics manufacturing zone is poised to feature UR's new OptiMove motion control algorithm, enabling smoother cobot movements with improved cycle times. Additionally, the AI Accelerator, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, will enhance machine tending and assembly tasks, showcasing significant reductions in deployment time and risks for AI-based applications.

In the logistics zone, MiR’s autonomous Pallet Jack, the MiR1200, will demonstrate AI-driven perception for pallet handling, while the award-winning MC600, an integrated mobile cobot solution featuring a UR20 cobot, will illustrate advanced palletization capabilities. These developments underscore the powerful synergy between UR and MiR in delivering autonomous intralogistics solutions.

Teradyne (TER, Financial), listed on NASDAQ, continues to leverage AI and robotics to revolutionize manufacturing processes, embodying a commitment to enhancing productivity, product quality, and worker safety worldwide.
