The endeavor, entitled "Research and Demonstration of Key Engineering Technologies for Long-Life, Low-Cost Sodium-Ion Battery Hard Carbon Anode Materials," was granted approval after successfully passing several rounds of evaluation by expert panels.
This project aims to pioneer breakthroughs in creating durable and cost-effective sodium-ion battery systems. In support of their research efforts, Sunrise New Energy has been awarded approximately $960,000 through a specialized science and technology fund. This financial backing represents a significant step toward advancing the company’s objectives in the energy storage sector.
