  • Masivo Silver Corp (TSXV: MASS) (OTC Pink: GNYPF) has completed the design of an eight-hole, 1,300-meter drill program at its Cerro Colorado property in Sonora, Mexico.
  • The program will test high chargeability anomalies and explore polymetallic sulfide zones with significant historical mineral grades such as 1,840 g/t silver, 4.82 g/t gold, and 3.06% copper.
  • Two distinct structural systems are identified at the property, enhancing the potential for discovering high-grade mineralization.

Masivo Silver Corp (TSXV: MASS) (OTC Pink: GNYPF) has announced the completion of the strategic drill target program design at its Cerro Colorado property, located in Sonora, Mexico. The program, designed by Senior Mexican Geologist Jorge Rafael Gallardo, will comprise eight drill holes totaling 1,300 meters, with guidance from P.Geo Brian Brewer and P.Geo Mark Bailey.

The drill program aims to explore high chargeability anomalies and polymetallic sulfide zones. Key targets include:

  • Hole A: Targeting 130 meters depth, it aims to intersect a zone with potential high values of silver, gold, copper, lead, and zinc.
  • Hole B: At 150 meters depth, this hole will test high-grade values from historical mine workings with assays of 1,840 g/t silver, 4.82 g/t gold, and 3.06% copper.
  • Holes C, D, & E: These will test the high chargeability anomaly within the mineralized structure, with depths ranging from 150 to 200 meters.
  • Holes F & G: Planned for depths of 150 to 300 meters, these holes will assess the continuity of the mineralized structure along a southwest-to-northeast trend.
  • Hole H: Targeting a secondary structural system perpendicular to the main trend, with previous high-grade values over 20 g/t gold, 95 g/t silver, and 0.8% copper at a depth of 120 meters.

CEO David Coburn expressed confidence in the drilling program, highlighting the potential to unlock significant value and improve understanding of the property’s potential. Senior Geologist Jorge Rafael Gallardo noted the opportunity to discover high-grade mineralization due to two distinct structural systems on the property.
