- Goliath Resources (GOTRF, Financial) confirms high-grade gold mineralization at Surebet in B.C.'s Golden Triangle.
- Findings reveal two types of gold mineralization with grades up to 34.52 g/t AuEq over 39 meters.
- Potential for further exploration with all 243 drill holes showing gold mineralization.
Goliath Resources Limited (GOTRF) has reported significant findings from its Surebet discovery on the Golddigger Property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. A geological study conducted by the Colorado School of Mines has confirmed the presence of a Reduced Intrusion Related Gold (RIRG) system at Surebet, characterized by high-grade gold mineralization.
The study identified two distinct types of high-grade gold mineralization at Surebet:
1. Shear hosted veins up to 39 meters wide with grades reaching 34.52 g/t AuEq over 39 meters.
2. Multiple quartz veinlets in felsic to intermediate dykes with assays up to 12.03 g/t AuEq over 10 meters.
Remarkably, the research found 12 vertically stacked gold mineralized layers within a 1.8 km² area, with visible gold present in 92% of the drill holes. This overlap in mineralization suggests a common source from the Eocene age, dated between 50.7-52.0 Ma. The system remains open in all directions, suggesting significant untapped potential.
The project has exhibited excellent metallurgy with gold recoveries of 92.2%, and no deleterious elements, such as mercury or arsenic, were detected. Goliath Resources continues to see strong exploration potential as the project remains open and extends in all directions.
