(ISPR, Financial) has announced the results of a groundbreaking Human Factors Validation Study conducted by their joint venture, IKE Tech LLC, on the first blockchain-based age-gating system for electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS). The study demonstrated a 100% success rate in age verification among 101 participants, with 0% underage users able to activate a device. The system also achieved 100% device deactivation after periods of inactivity.
The IKE system combines Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) chips, biometric authentication, and blockchain technology to create real-time access control for vaping devices.
