Garmin (GRMN) has introduced the Instinct 3 - Tactical Edition, an advanced line of tactical smartwatches available with either AMOLED or solar-powered displays. The new models come in two sizes, 45mm and 50mm, and feature improvements such as a metal-reinforced bezel, built-in LED flashlight, and new rucking activity tracker. The watches are designed for extreme durability with military-grade specifications (MIL-STD 810) and are water-resistant up to 100 meters.

The Instinct 3 - Tactical Edition is equipped with enhanced battery capabilities; the AMOLED model offers up to 24 days in smartwatch mode, while the solar-powered models provide substantially improved battery efficiency, lasting five times longer in GPS mode compared to the previous Instinct 2 Solar. The watches are packed with tactical features, including Night Vision Goggle mode, Stealth Mode, and Kill Switch, offering a comprehensive suite for tactical operations.
