TSMC (TSM, Financial) recently held the 2025 North America Technology Forum and announced that it plans to begin producing chips using its next-generation A14 process technology in 2028. This new A14 process is expected to boost processing speed by 15% at the same power consumption or reduce power consumption by 30% while maintaining the same processing speed, compared to the current 2nm technology.
The company also revealed plans to launch the A16 process technology by the end of 2026.
