- The company stakes 11 new mining claims, expanding its presence in Nevada's Walker Lane Mineral Belt.
- The exploration identifies a substantial epithermal system extending over 4 kilometers.
Guardian Metal Resources PLC (GMTLF) has announced major exploration developments at its Garfield Project, located in Nevada's Walker Lane Mineral Belt. Recent surface sampling, particularly sample CJO079, revealed high-grade mineral deposits with 9.9 g/t gold, 1,105 g/t silver, 1.84% antimony, and 2.45% lead.
The company has expanded its operations by staking 11 additional mining claims in the newly recognized Freeze East Zone. This expansion is in response to the discovery of a significant epithermal corridor extending over 4 kilometers across the Pamlico, Freeze, and Freeze East Zones, following geological fieldwork conducted by Dr. Lawrence Carter.
Guardian Metal, while primarily focused on its tungsten assets at Pilot Mountain and Tempiute, views these findings at Garfield as promising opportunities for shareholders. The company holds a 100% interest in the Garfield Project through its subsidiary in Nevada, where parts of the project are royalty-free.
CEO Oliver Friesen expressed optimism about the exploration outcomes, noting that the recent staking has led to complete ownership and royalty-free status over the trend areas. He emphasized the company's commitment to structuring future partnerships to maximize project potential while benefiting existing shareholders.
