HP Inc. (HPQ) and the HP Foundation have unveiled their 2025 Digital Equity Accelerator cohort, selecting eight nonprofit organizations across Greece, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Spain. This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and enhance digital equity by providing each organization with $100,000 in HP technology and capacity-building cash grants, along with six months of training.
The selected nonprofits are addressing digital disparities by focusing on digital skills training and education access, ultimately helping disconnected communities gain essential skills and opportunities. The program is part of HP's broader effort to accelerate digital equity for 150 million people by 2030, tackling the significant digital divide that affects billions worldwide. The Accelerator has already impacted over nine million people by supporting 27 organizations in its initial three years.
Among the 2025 cohort, Greece's Socialinnov focuses on equipping underrepresented communities with digital skills, while The Smile of the Child provides support to over 2.2 million people. In Indonesia, Solve Education Foundation offers AI-powered learning, and Markoding empowers youth with STEM training. Nigeria's She-Code Africa and Slum2School Africa provide essential skills and education to underserved communities. In Spain, AlmaNatura and Fundación Esplai promote rural and digital inclusivity.
HP's commitment to digital equity reflects a strategic investment in addressing the $1 trillion-plus digital divide, aiming to provide equitable access to technology and economic opportunities worldwide. For more details on the Digital Equity Accelerator, visit their official website.
