Tesla (TSLA) Expects Capital Spending to Exceed $10 Billion This Year

Tesla (TSLA, Financial) announced in a regulatory filing that its capital spending for this year is anticipated to surpass $10 billion, slightly narrowing from previous forecasts. Earlier, the company projected capital expenditures of over $11 billion from 2025 to 2027. Chief Financial Officer Vaibhav Taneja highlighted that tariffs will impact capital investments, as the company plans to import equipment to open or expand production lines in the United States.
