Rapid7 (RPD), a leader in extended risk and threat detection, has introduced the Intelligence Hub, an advanced threat intelligence solution integrated within its Command Platform. This new offering is designed to tackle significant security challenges including data overload, siloed intelligence platforms, and effective threat prioritization. Intelligence Hub integrates seamlessly with existing tools, providing security teams with curated, actionable insights directly within their workflow.

The platform harnesses expertly curated data from Rapid7 Labs, incorporating unique sources such as honeypot data and proprietary research. This approach is aimed at delivering high-fidelity intelligence that minimizes false positives, thus reducing alert fatigue for security teams. With its contextualized information, security professionals can prioritize threats based on industry, geography, and vulnerabilities, enhancing efficiency and response times.

An October 2024 IDC survey highlighted the main challenges with threat intelligence solutions: cost (42.2%), false positives and alert fatigue (40.0%), and data quality issues (39.7%). By addressing these concerns, Intelligence Hub aims to provide a high-value solution for organizations struggling with these pervasive issues.

Rapid7 will demonstrate the capabilities of the Intelligence Hub at the upcoming RSA Conference in San Francisco from April 28 to May 1, providing an opportunity for industry professionals to experience the solution firsthand and understand its potential to revolutionize threat detection and response efforts.
