The Travelers Companies, Inc. (TRV) has released its 2024 community report, "Stories That Connect Us," revealing over $24 million in charitable contributions. This brings the company's total donations to more than $237 million over the last ten years.
In addition to its monetary contributions, Travelers highlighted the impressive commitment of its employees, who logged 120,000 volunteer hours in 2024. These efforts aim to bolster academic and career success, thrive neighborhoods, and promote cultural enrichment.
Specifically, Travelers invested $6 million in academic and career development initiatives, including the Travelers EDGE® program. This program is designed to empower students for graduation and subsequent employment.
The Travelers Fortifies Communities initiative received $5.6 million, which contributed to the construction and rebuilding of 95 homes to FORTIFIED™ standards last year, reflecting the company's dedication to creating safe and resilient neighborhoods.
Travelers also allocated approximately $3 million to arts and culture organizations such as New York City Ballet and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, providing more than 58,000 students with access to live performances and scholarships.
