- Integrated digital out-of-home advertising seeks to enhance revenue streams at charging sites.
ADS-TEC Energy (ADSE), a leader in battery-based energy storage and fast-charging systems, is collaborating with AVIA to deploy its ChargePost fast-charging EV solutions across gas stations in Germany. This initiative aims to significantly enhance EV infrastructure in the region.
The ChargePost technology enables ultra-fast charging up to 300 kW, leveraging integrated battery storage and intelligent load management to function efficiently even with low-powered grid connections. This innovative setup circumvents the need for extensive and costly grid infrastructure redevelopments at existing gas stations.
One notable location is a filling station in Bocholt, which integrates a 45 kWp photovoltaic system into its energy management. Here, modernized building technology ensures the efficient use of site-generated energy, optimizing the limited grid connection available.
Beyond charging capabilities, ADS-TEC Energy is also exploring additional revenue streams through digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising. With an installation of 75-inch displays at the Blomberg location, the company plans to enhance the profitability of the charging infrastructure by capitalizing on these marketing opportunities.
AVIA, operating over 800 gas stations in Germany and more than 3,000 throughout Europe, represents a vast network for deploying ADS-TEC’s charging solutions, promoting sustainable and efficient energy transition within existing service stations.
