Amphenol Corporation (APH) reported outstanding results for the first quarter of 2025, showcasing record sales of $4.8 billion, a substantial 48% increase in U.S. dollars and 33% organically compared to the same period in 2024. The company also reported a GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.58, a 32% rise from the previous year, and an adjusted diluted EPS of $0.63, up by 58% year-over-year.

The impressive growth was driven by strong organic performance in various markets, including IT datacom, mobile devices, defense, and communications networks. The company's acquisition strategy further bolstered growth, contributing to the record adjusted operating margin of 23.5%.

During the quarter, Amphenol completed the acquisitions of LifeSync and CommScope’s OWN and DAS businesses, now referred to as Andrew. These acquisitions are expected to be accretive to the company's 2025 adjusted diluted EPS by approximately $0.09, surpassing initial expectations.

Amphenol returned approximately $380 million to shareholders in Q1 2025, comprising $180.9 million in share buybacks and $200 million in dividends. Looking ahead to Q2 2025, the company projects sales between $4.90 billion and $5.00 billion, representing a 36% to 39% year-over-year increase, with adjusted diluted EPS expected to be in the range of $0.64 to $0.66.

The company remains committed to expanding growth through its technology development initiatives and ongoing acquisition program, despite the prevailing economic and geopolitical uncertainties.
