  • Talon Metals (TLOFF, Financial) identifies potential expansion of high-grade nickel-copper zone in the Tamarack Resource Area.
  • New drilling intercepts 1.9 meters of massive sulphide with 70% sulphide content, situated 27 meters east of prior findings.
  • The company plans to mobilize additional drill rigs to the Boulderdash target in Michigan for further exploration.

Talon Metals Corp. (TLOFF), a key player in the development of domestic critical mineral supply chains, has announced promising results from its feasibility study drilling at the Tamarack Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project in Minnesota. A newly drilled hole, 25TK0555, has intercepted 1.9 meters of massive sulphide mineralization containing approximately 70% sulphide content, located 27 meters east of previous explorations.

The historical drill hole, 13TK0171, had previously encountered 7.74 meters of massive sulphide with a noteworthy grade of 8.01% nickel, 2.87% copper, and a combination of palladium, platinum, and gold yielding a 9.51% nickel equivalent. This provides a strong comparison point despite the slightly lower sulphide content in the new findings.

Further examination through Borehole Electromagnetic (BHEM) surveys suggests that mineralization could extend even further eastward beyond the current resource boundaries. This reinforces the mineral expansion potential at the southern end of the Tamarack Resource Area.

In line with their strategic objectives, Talon Metals is preparing to continue its feasibility study drilling while also planning to mobilize three of its five drill rigs to the Boulderdash target in Michigan. This initiative is part of Talon's broader strategy to enhance the domestic production of crucial minerals in the United States, reducing reliance on foreign imports from countries like China and Russia.

Etienne Dinel, Vice President of Geology at Talon, emphasized the significance of these developments, indicating substantial lateral expansion opportunities for high-grade nickel-copper deposits in the region. These efforts align with the company's commitment to developing a sustainable critical minerals initiative within the U.S.
