TrustPoint, a leader in advanced Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) technologies, has secured a $1.2 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II contract from the United States Navy’s Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). This contract is set to fund the pioneering delivery and demonstration of TrustPoint’s C-band GNSS service-enabled receivers to the U.S. government.
In collaboration with Hexagon | NovAtel and Hexagon US Federal, TrustPoint seeks to integrate C-band services into NovAtel's advanced GNSS receiver technology. This partnership aims to deliver robust anti-jam receivers that enhance military PNT capabilities by providing GPS-independent, resilient solutions. Sandy Kennedy, vice president of innovation at Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division, expressed excitement about the project, emphasizing the integration of TrustPoint's services with their technology.
