  • Helium One Global (HLOGF, Financial) successfully drills the Jackson-27 well in Colorado, confirming the presence of free gas.
  • The well reached a depth of 1,183 feet, encountering 60 feet of high-quality, gas-saturated sands.
  • Preparations for surface pressure readings and flow testing are underway ahead of production integration.

Helium One Global Ltd (HLOGF) has achieved a significant milestone in its Galactica-Pegasus helium development project in Colorado, where it holds a 50% working interest. The company successfully completed the drilling of the Jackson-27 well to a total depth of 1,183 feet (360 meters), confirming the presence of free gas.

The drilling operation identified 60 feet of high-quality, gas-saturated sands within the Upper Lyons Sandstone Formation, boasting a porosity of 22-26%. Notably, no water was encountered during the drilling process, affirming the reservoir's quality and potential.

Natural gas flow was observed both during drilling and at total depth, demonstrating excellent reservoir communication. Gas samples have been dispatched for laboratory analysis to determine helium and CO2 concentrations.

As part of the ongoing development drilling campaign, the Jackson-27 well is being prepared for surface pressure measurements and flow testing. Successful testing will lead to the well's completion and integration into production facilities.

Following the successful testing of Jackson-27, the drilling rig is slated to move to the Jackson-2 L4 3154 well location for the next phase of drilling operations. This marks the continuation of the Galactica-Pegasus project's development, a joint venture with Blue Star Helium Ltd.
