HARTSVILLE, S.C., April 22, 2025 – Sonoco Products Company (SON), a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions, has been named to USA TODAY’s prestigious list of America’s Climate Leaders 2025. The recognition reflects the company's significant environmental efforts and commitment to sustainability, as announced by USA TODAY and Statista.

To qualify for the America’s Climate Leaders 2025 list, companies needed to fulfill stringent criteria including being headquartered in the USA, generating a minimum of $50 million in revenue in 2023, and reporting independent emissions data for Scope 1 and 2 from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, companies were required to have a minimum CDP rating of C, if applicable, alongside a positive broader environmental record.
