Ryerson Holding Corporation (RYI), a leading processor and distributor of industrial metals, has announced the election of Lt. Gen. Bruce T. Crawford, U.S. Army (Ret.), to its Board of Directors. With a distinguished military career spanning 34 years, Crawford served as the Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Army, where he was a principal advisor on enterprise IT and cybersecurity policy.
Following his retirement from the Army, Crawford held notable positions at Jacobs Solutions Inc., including Chief of Innovation and Senior Vice President for Strategic Development. He played a pivotal role in their government-focused Critical Mission Solutions division, which is valued at $5 billion.
Ryerson, with operations across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and China, is keen to leverage Crawford's expertise to optimize its operations and enhance the customer experience, aligning with the company's next-stage operational and financial performance goals.
