The company achieved a net income attributable to Baker Hughes of $402 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased by 10% year-over-year to $1.037 billion. The GAAP diluted EPS was $0.40, and the adjusted diluted EPS stood at $0.51. Free cash flow was $454 million, a decline of 10% year-over-year.

The company's Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) segment showed robust performance, securing $3.2 billion in orders. This includes new data center awards, surpassing 350 MW of power solutions, marking Baker Hughes’ entry into this burgeoning market. Furthermore, Baker Hughes maintained a resilient backlog with Remaining Performance Obligations (RPO) of $33.2 billion, which includes a record IET RPO of $30.4 billion.

In the Oilfield Services & Equipment (OFSE) segment, despite an 8% decline in revenue, Baker Hughes demonstrated margin improvement. The company maintained a focus on structural efficiency, a strategic move that resulted in a resilient EBITDA margin of 17.8%, up by 0.8 percentage points year-over-year.

Baker Hughes returned $417 million to shareholders in the first quarter of 2025, comprised of $188 million through share repurchases. The company remains committed to its strategy and believes that its diversified portfolio and strong market position will support future growth, despite broader macroeconomic challenges.
