Today, Xfinity Mobile, part of Comcast Corporation (CMCSA, Financial), has unveiled a new Premium Unlimited plan designed to offer gigabit speeds and a host of upgraded features to its users. This latest offering aims to deliver a premium mobile experience while enabling customers to cut their monthly bills in half compared to similar plans from major cellular providers during the first year. The plan encompasses premium perks such as 4K UHD streaming, increased WiFi hotspot data, and advanced spam call protection.
According to Kohposh Kuda, Senior Vice President of Xfinity Mobile, the plan is designed to offer superior performance at a significantly reduced cost. "This new plan delivers a premium mobile experience powered by gig speeds in and out of the home – at a fraction of the cost," Kuda stated.
Xfinity Mobile is also enhancing its offerings with the introduction of additional promotions for both new and existing customers. These include a free unlimited line for the first year with Xfinity Internet, up to $500 per line for contract buyouts, and a discount of up to $830 on new devices from Apple and Samsung with a qualifying trade-in.
A notable feature of the new plan is the WiFi PowerBoost, which has increased customer average speeds by 150% since its launch. With access to over 23 million hotspots, Xfinity Mobile is leveraging the largest WiFi network combined with its reliable 5G network to provide unmatched speed and connectivity.
The Premium Unlimited plan also offers customers the ability to upgrade their phones twice a year and includes 30GB of 5G hotspot data monthly. Additionally, advanced spam call blocking is now available through Xfinity Call Guard, providing users enhanced protection and peace of mind.
