In a major initiative to promote environmental responsibility, Winnebago Industries (WGO) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the non-profit organization Leave No Trace. This collaboration aims to promote environmental stewardship specifically in recreational vehicle (RV) and boating activities by adapting the 7 Leave No Trace principles into practical guidelines for RVers and boaters.

The newly introduced guidelines for RV owners include recommendations such as parking only in designated areas, keeping pets leashed or inside RVs, and driving cautiously to protect campgrounds and parks. For boating enthusiasts, the recommendations focus on protecting waterways by avoiding shallow waters, thoroughly cleaning vessels to prevent invasive species, and practicing low-noise navigation near residential and natural reserves.
