Comcast Corporation (CMCSA) has announced a significant contribution of $50,000 to support nonprofit organizations in Arkansas and Tennessee following recent severe storms. The initiative is aimed at helping families and businesses affected by tornadoes and flooding, providing vital community rebuilding resources.

The donation is allocated as follows: $20,000 to the American Red Cross Mid-South (Memphis), $15,000 to the American Red Cross of Arkansas, $10,000 to the Arkansas Food Bank, and $5,000 to Mercy Chefs in Memphis. These funds are set to aid in disaster response and recovery, ensuring the availability of essential resources for the impacted regions.

In addition to the financial assistance, Comcast has been actively involved in repairing network damage and maintaining connectivity in the affected areas, underscoring its commitment to support community resilience during crises.

"This donation reflects Comcast’s broader mission to stand by communities during times of crisis, helping residents rebuild and recover with resilience and hope," said Mike McArdle, Comcast Regional Senior Vice President. Gary LeBlanc, Founder and CEO of Mercy Chefs, expressed gratitude, noting that the donation would enhance their capacity to provide meals to those working tirelessly to rebuild.
