This strategic collaboration begins on April 23, 2025, consolidating all ethanol marketing and logistics operations under Eco-Energy's management. The partnership is expected to streamline operations, enhance market reach, and improve supply chain efficiency for Green Plains.
According to Imre Havasi, Senior Vice President at Green Plains, Eco-Energy's extensive market expertise and strong logistics capabilities will help maximize the value of Green Plains' low-carbon ethanol. The collaboration covers all ethanol volume produced at Green Plains’ biorefineries and signifies a significant move towards delivering more sustainable fuel solutions globally.
Craig Willis, CEO of Eco-Energy, shared enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting that the combined platform will be one of the largest ethanol marketers in North America.
