Shengfeng Development Limited (SFWL), a prominent logistics solutions provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), a leader in lithium-ion battery innovation. This multi-year agreement, valued at approximately 300 million RMB ($42 million USD), aims to advance new energy logistics solutions in China.
Under the agreement, initiated in March 2025, Shengfeng will manage the nationwide transportation and distribution of CATL's battery components and finished products. This initiative leverages the Ningde Smart Logistics Center, operational since late 2024, to serve as a key hub for CATL's regional operations. The collaboration emphasizes sustainable logistics practices, which include the integration of eco-friendly fleet vehicles, the implementation of real-time tracking systems, and data-driven optimization of warehousing operations.
Shengfeng's Chairman and CEO, Yongxu Liu, expressed that this partnership with CATL represents a convergence of vision and capability, stating, "By integrating our intelligent logistics platform with CATL's groundbreaking energy technologies, we are redefining sustainable supply chain practices for the new energy era."
