This cutting-edge service aims to automatically prevent cyber threats at the network edge, using intelligence that protects Lumen's expansive infrastructure by tracking over 2.3 million threats daily.
Apex DataCom, a firm specializing in IT consulting, participated in a pilot program and reported significant improvements, including a 70-80% decrease in security alerts and successful blocking of nation-state brute force attacks. During a seven-day period, the system effectively blocked hundreds of thousands of threats on their 10-gigabit circuits, confirming its capability at an enterprise scale.
Integrated with Lumen Internet On-Demand, Lumen Defender Plus requires no additional equipment, facilitating a smoother adoption process. The solution offers a customizable web portal providing real-time threat monitoring, custom blocking rules, detailed reporting, and instant alerts via email or text, thus enhancing operational efficiency for security teams.
