- CrowdStrike (CRWD, Financial) launches Falcon Privileged Access to unify hybrid identity security.
- Falcon platform addresses 79% of malware-free attacks using trusted identities.
- Charlotte AI achieves over 98% accuracy in triaging identity-based threats.
CrowdStrike (CRWD) has announced the release of Falcon Privileged Access, a new module within its Falcon Identity Protection platform. Designed to secure the entire identity attack lifecycle—from initial access to privilege escalation and lateral movement—Falcon Privileged Access offers unified privileged access controls and is tailored for hybrid environments.
This launch comes as identity-related cyber threats become increasingly sophisticated, with adversaries targeting privileged access to gain control over sensitive systems and data. CrowdStrike's Falcon platform, leveraging agentic AI and real-time signals, ensures dynamic, risk-aware access control. This enables firms to eliminate standing privileges and respond instantly to any detected risk, making access decisions on the fly.
In addition to these features, Falcon Privileged Access extends the capabilities of the Charlotte AI Agentic Detection Triage, improving detection accuracy of identity-based attacks to over 98%. This extension empowers organizations to detect and respond to threats effectively, moving beyond fragmented security solutions.
The introduction of Falcon Privileged Access also includes Just-in-Time Privileged Access, which dynamically grants permissions only when necessary, continuously assessing user and device risk levels. This feature is essential for protecting against attack groups like SCATTERED SPIDER and FAMOUS CHOLLIMA, which exploit stolen credentials and social engineering.
Falcon Privileged Access is now available, promising to raise the standard of identity security by protecting customers against persistent identity-based threats across hybrid environments.
