CrowdStrike (CRWD) has announced the release of Falcon Privileged Access, a new module within its Falcon Identity Protection platform. Designed to secure the entire identity attack lifecycle—from initial access to privilege escalation and lateral movement—Falcon Privileged Access offers unified privileged access controls and is tailored for hybrid environments.
This launch comes as identity-related cyber threats become increasingly sophisticated, with adversaries targeting privileged access to gain control over sensitive systems and data. CrowdStrike's Falcon platform, leveraging agentic AI and real-time signals, ensures dynamic, risk-aware access control. This enables firms to eliminate standing privileges and respond instantly to any detected risk, making access decisions on the fly.
In addition to these features, Falcon Privileged Access extends the capabilities of the Charlotte AI Agentic Detection Triage, improving detection accuracy of identity-based attacks to over 98%.
