Soluna Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SLNH), a leader in developing green data centers for Bitcoin mining and AI, has signed a significant two-year hosting agreement with Blockware, a top provider of crypto mining infrastructure in North America. This strategic partnership, located at Soluna's Project Dorothy 2 data center in Texas, includes the deployment of approximately 1,500 of Blockware's next-generation S21+ mining units.
The newly signed agreement highlights an initial deployment of 5 megawatts (MW), which began on April 21, 2025. Full operational capacity is expected by June 1, 2025, with Blockware planning to deploy a hashrate between 250 PH/s and 350 PH/s at the site. This deal underscores the increasing demand for sustainable blockchain infrastructure.
According to Soluna’s CEO, John Belizaire, the partnership emphasizes the value of Soluna’s renewable-powered data centers specifically designed for Bitcoin mining. The collaboration is set to provide a cost-effective and environmentally friendly hosting environment, integrating full-stack infrastructure support, including power management, internet connectivity, and security.
