Newsmax Inc. (NMAX) has announced a multi-year distribution deal with Supercanal, a leading Caribbean broadcaster, to extend its channel to three million TV households in the Dominican Republic. This strategic partnership marks a significant expansion of Newsmax's presence in the Caribbean market.

The channel will be available on channel 33.1 in the Dominican Republic. This expansion is notable as it employs AI technology for live Spanish dubbing, using neutral Spanish to ensure accessibility and real-time translations of breaking news across Latin America.

This agreement is part of Newsmax's broader international strategy to grow its global media presence. With this deal, Newsmax now has distribution or licensing partnerships in over 100 countries across five continents, underscoring its commitment to becoming a global news brand.

Andy Biggers, Newsmax's SVP of Distribution, emphasized the collaboration as an opportunity to join with an innovative leader in the Dominican Republic, while also strengthening ties with the country's people. Marcos Jorge, Executive VP of Supercanal, expressed enthusiasm for making Newsmax available to the Dominican audience, highlighting its potential resonance due to content availability in Spanish.
