The company achieved a 43% reduction in market-based Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions from a 2018 baseline, with an 11% reduction recorded in 2024. This substantial reduction moves Owens Corning closer to its target of a 50% reduction by 2030.
In addition to emissions reductions, Owens Corning reported a notable decrease in waste generation. The company reduced its total waste by 64,676 metric tons compared to 2023 levels and achieved an 11% reduction in landfill waste year-over-year.
