  • Fuerte Metals (FUEMF, Financial) reports significant drilling results from the Cristina Project in Chihuahua, Mexico.
  • High-grade intercepts include 8.5 g/t AuEq over 4.0 meters and 6.1 g/t AuEq over 1.7 meters.
  • Current mineral resources are 747,000 AuEq ounces indicated and 772,000 AuEq ounces inferred.

Fuerte Metals (FUEMF) has announced significant results from five recent diamond drill holes at its Cristina precious metals project located in Chihuahua, Mexico. Notable intersections from the Guadalupe and Los Ingleses vein systems include 8.5 g/t AuEq over 4.0 meters and 6.1 g/t AuEq over 1.7 meters.

The Cristina project comprises multiple outcropping quartz veins over 10 meters wide, extending across a 5-kilometer strike length. The current mineral resource for the project stands at 17.5 million tonnes at 1.32 g/t AuEq, equivalent to 747,000 AuEq ounces indicated, and 19.0 million tonnes at 1.26 g/t AuEq, amounting to 772,000 AuEq ounces inferred.

Fuerte Metals has completed a total of 45 drill holes, amounting to 11,999.5 meters. The results demonstrate continuous higher-grade zones within multiple vein systems that remain open both along the strike and at depth, providing potential for further expansion.

The Guadalupe vein system, in particular, has shown promising expansions to the high-grade zones. Drilling efforts continue to focus on enhancing the resource potential, aiming to increase both the size and grade of the deposit for future underground mining opportunities.
