  • High-grade gold intersection of 6.2 g/t over 6.45 meters in hole MLMM-25-07, including 57.2 g/t over 0.45 meters.
  • Discovery of five new mineralized zones with visible gold in hole MLMM-25-09.
  • Potential for polymetallic resources with copper, cobalt, and nickel mineralization.

McFarlane Lake Mining Limited (MLMLF, Financial) has announced promising results from its recent drilling activities at its McMillan Mine property, located near Sudbury, Ontario. A key highlight from the exploration is drill hole MLMM-25-07, which revealed a high-grade gold intersection of 6.2 grams per tonne (g/t) over 6.45 meters within a larger interval of 14.9 meters grading 3.0 g/t gold. This includes a particularly high-grade section of 57.2 g/t over 0.45 meters.

Further drilling in hole MLMM-25-09 led to the discovery of five new mineralized zones, two of which contain visible gold. This has confirmed the western plunge of mineralization beneath the McMillan Mine and suggests considerable potential for expansion.

In addition to gold, the exploration results have uncovered significant polymetallic potential. Anomalous assays showed copper concentrations at 0.36%, cobalt at 0.11%, and nickel at 0.07%, enhancing the project's resource potential beyond gold.

The company is utilizing Electro Magnetic (EM) geophysics to steer its exploration efforts. A new EM plate has been identified between 550 to 700 meters beneath the surface, indicating potential resource expansion opportunities both along strike and at depth on the western side of the mine.

Mark Trevisiol, CEO and Chairman of McFarlane Lake Mining, stated, "Our recent assays and newest intersection are encouraging and seem to have confirmed the western plunge of mineralization at the McMillan Mine." He emphasized that the EM geophysics continue to offer excellent guidance for locating gold mineralization.
