This data, released by Realtor.com and Local Logic, highlights cities where sustainable transportation options are widely viable.

The rankings, which combine U.S. Census data on car-free commuters with proprietary Location Scores from Local Logic, showcase the dominance of the Northeast and California's Bay Area in promoting eco-friendly transit. Alongside Hoboken, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Brookline, Massachusetts, round out the top three cities, demonstrating significant investments in walkability, bikeability, and public transit access.

The study emphasizes the correlation between high home values and strong transportation infrastructure. With median home prices at $785,000 for Hoboken, $1,410,000 for Cambridge, and $2,550,000 for Brookline, the report highlights the accessibility to jobs and the high quality of life facilitated by robust transit options.
