- Hole DDRCCC-25-075 recorded 352.8 meters of 1.55 g/t gold, including 108.9 meters of 3.27 g/t gold and 45.0 meters of 4.52 g/t gold.
- The results suggest a potential for underground mining at the RC Gold Project in Yukon.
- Assays for Hole 76, the deepest hole at the project, are pending.
Sitka Gold Corp. (SITKF, Financial) has reported impressive drilling outcomes from its RC Gold Project in Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt. The first drilled hole of 2025, identified as DDRCCC-25-075, provided outstanding results with an intersection of 352.8 meters containing 1.55 g/t gold, which includes 108.9 meters of 3.27 g/t gold and 45.0 meters of 4.52 g/t gold. These findings extend the high-grade gold zone discovered in late 2024 and hint at increasing gold grades with depth.
Additionally, over 130 instances of visible gold were noted in this drill hole. Another drill hole, DDRCCC-25-076, reached a depth of 810.8 meters, marking the deepest excavation at the Blackjack deposit, with assay results currently awaited.
The project holds a pit-constrained mineral resource of 1.29 million ounces grading 1.01 g/t gold indicated and 1.04 million ounces grading 0.94 g/t gold inferred. These significant results indicate a promising scenario for potential underground mining beneath the present resources.
Sitka Gold is advancing its RC Gold Project with a fully funded 30,000-meter drilling program planned for 2025, aiming to further unlock the potential of this prolific gold district. The company is optimistic about expanding the identified high-grade gold zones and enhancing shareholder value with these developments.
