First Lithium Minerals (CSE: FLM, OTC: FLMCF) has announced encouraging results from a near-surface sediment geochemistry survey at its Salar de Ascotan Project in Chile's Antofagasta Region. The survey revealed notable maximum values of 245 ppm for lithium and 2,420 ppm for boron, particularly in the central west section of the project.

The Salar de Ascotan Project spans 1,775 hectares in a well-established lithium, boron, and copper production district. The company implemented the survey over identified geophysical and drill targets, collecting 50 samples at depths of 0.5 to 1.5 meters. These promising results highlight the project's potential for lithium and boron brine mineralization, supported by prior geophysical surveys.

First Lithium Minerals is preparing for a 1,500-meter drilling program in the second half of 2025, subject to obtaining necessary government permits. The samples collected were analyzed following industry-standard QA/QC protocols by AGS Laboratory in Chile, ensuring the reliability of the findings.

Rob Saltsman, CEO and Director of First Lithium Minerals, expressed optimism about the project's potential, emphasizing the region's known abundance of lithium and boron resources, signaling significant growth opportunities.
