Northern Trust (NTRS) has announced the appointment of Douglas Gee as the new Global Head of Sales for Asset Servicing, effective July 1. Gee will succeed Jon Dunham, who is retiring. In his new role, Gee will be tasked with driving the global sales strategy and accelerating new business revenue growth for Northern Trust.

Douglas Gee's responsibilities will include managing business development efforts across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), APAC (Asia-Pacific), and the Americas, while remaining based in London. Gee will report directly to Teresa Parker, Northern Trust's President of Asset Servicing.

Having joined Northern Trust in 2008, Gee has a wealth of experience in business development, particularly in leading Asset Owner business development for the UK and Ireland. His prior experience extends over 25 years and includes expertise in the IT industry. Gee holds a B.Sc. degree with honours in Computer Sciences and Politics from the University of West England, Bristol.

Northern Trust continues to be a leading provider in wealth management, asset servicing, and asset management with a presence in major global markets. As of December 31, 2024, Northern Trust managed assets worth US$16.8 trillion under custody/administration.
