Asian Markets Open Lower Amid Weakness in Electronics and Banking Sectors

Asian stock markets opened lower, with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down by 0.5% at 34,111.14 points. The decline was primarily driven by losses in the electronics and banking sectors. Meanwhile, South Korea's KOSPI index also opened lower, falling 0.3% to 2,481.18 points.
