The new offerings include two high-performance digital label presses, QL-425 and QL-435, along with the VP-800 direct-to-package printer. The company has successfully integrated MTEX technology, expanding its sales force from a modest team to 40 cross-trained personnel and broadening its distributor network. This strategic expansion has led to improved order rates within the Product Identification segment, moving closer to the anticipated outcomes from the MTEX acquisition.
As part of a comprehensive restructuring initiative, AstroNova has streamlined its executive team, reducing direct reports to the CEO from ten to seven. This restructuring is expected to yield $3 million in annualized cost savings beginning in the third quarter of fiscal 2026.
